Risk assessment
The possible risks that could occur during the event are as follows:- Risk of being run over by a car
Look where you're going and listen for cars!
- Risk of tripping over
Look where you're going!
- Risk of being sick because you have animal hair on you
Wash your hand with antibacterial hand wash to prevent any contamination through food or drink.
- Risk of being bitten by an animal
Keep a safe distance from animals or simply don't get too close.
- Risk of equipment being stolen
If a person does attempt to steal equipment, allow them to take it to avoid any further conflict.
- Risk of dropping equipment
DON'T DROP IT AND MAKE SURE IT ISN'T SOMEWHERE IT CAN FALL OFF/ OUT OF.
- Risk of getting lost
Call one of your classmates on your phone, if that fails; retreat to a safe place you know you can re-group with fellow student/ tutors.
- Risk of your phone running out of charge
Charge your phone before you go out/ if you already have and your phone still runs out of charge, make sure you stick with a friend so you don't get lost.
